This was a bit spur of the moment and also a bit of celebration (more on that soon!), but we had an absolutely lovely time popping in and out of some RVA book spots on Saturday afternoon.

Abi's Books and Brews is an adorable, community-focused happening near the VCU campus that serves "locally sourced brews, artisan pastries, and authentic gelato as you browse thousands of unique reads." Too cute, right?

Fountain Bookstore is a much-beloved institution downtown that recently moved across the street for a bit more space, and their book club offerings are extensive. They also get bragging rights as having more author events than any other bookseller in the state!

Ruby Scoops is run and owned by Rabia Kamara, the WINNER of Food Network's Ben & Jerry's Clash of the Cones in 2021! All treats are handcrafted and made from scratch, and she must put magic in that Ube Cookies and Cream, I swear...

The Lit Bae Bookshop is a pop-up bookseller run by Kirwin, who not only travels around the DMV area with a full set up of new and used titles but crafts an incredible blind date with a book. The Lit Bae Podcast has also been running for five seasons with some fantastic topics.
